Neurons With Dystonia

Synaptic Jen from Indiana, US says, “I am currently a doctoral candidate in neuroscience and psychology. I am studying the neurophysiology of the basal ganglia in the context of neurodegenerative disease and dysfunction resulting in movement disorders. I have a personal interest as I have had generalized tardive dystonia for over 11 years. My dystonia was acquired from neuroleptic medications that were given to me to treat food poisoning.”
