Submit Your Work

Artistic Forum Submission Guidelines

Poems can be directly submitted via email. Topics not to be included are any that violate race, gender, or are slanderous in nature. Poems should be limited 15 to 25 lines in length if at all possible.

Excerpts from a published book may also be submitted. Please include a photo in jpg. form of your books’ cover.

Essays should be kept to a word count of 500 to 700 please. We also kindly ask that you perform a spell-check on your essay as well as editing your piece before submitting it to us. If you have difficulties with this, we’ll be happy to provide assistance to you.

Photography may cover any topic, avoiding any sexual content. Photos should be submitted via email as a downloadable attachment in jpg. file format ONLY, preferably 50×50 pixel size.

You may title your photographs including the date and location where it was taken. We ask that you consider submitting a short bio (5-6 sentences describing who you are, your type of dystonia, and why art has helped liberate you in a sense. We will include this information, along with your name, city, state information on our Artist Listing Page. It is your choice if you wish to supply your email address for listing as others may wish to communicate with you.

Blog listings are listed by website URLs only.

Any photo listed as a “$” can be purchased, which will benefit dystonia research. Contact us for more information about photo sizes, shipping and price listings.
