Health Metrics, a cloud-native solutions provider with nearly 200 customers in residential care, retirement villages, home care, disability care and primary health care in Australia and New Zealand, has appointed Mike Giuffrida (pictured above) to succeed Steven Strange as CEO.
Mr Strange co-founded Health Metrics with Lisa Papettas in 2008. The Weekly Source reported in April that Australian diversified alternative asset management firm Tanarra Capital had acquired a controlling stake in Health Metrics.
“Steven will remain actively involved with the company as Director of Innovation. While product innovation will be Steven’s core charter, he will remain closely involved and work with customers to maximize their use of the eCase platform as regulations evolve, ” Health Metrics said in a statement.
Mr. Giuffrida co-founded human resource management software provider Acendre in 1997. In 20 years, Acendre has grown in Australia and the United States, establishing a leadership position within the US government sector.
“This is a big step in the right direction for Health Metrics. I am delighted to have Mike on board. He will be an exceptional CEO. This strategic move will take the Health Metrics team to the next level of consumer-driven technology for health and social services ”, Mr Strange (pictured at LEADERS SUMMIT in 2021) said.
